CCSD Meal Pick-Up Schedule

Meal pick-up for our student body starts on September 8! Our community will find our meal pick-up schedule below.

Virtual Students:

  • Virtual pick-up days are Tuesday and Friday from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday meals can be picked up on Tuesday of each week.
  • Friday and Monday meals can be picked up on Friday of each week.

If any parents or student family members are unable to pick-up a meal during the above 11:00 - 12:30 time frame due to extenuating circumstances, please email Ellen Fitch at [email protected] so accommodations can be discussed.

All schools will have a designated meal pick-up location on their campus. The following schools will have their meal pick-up station placed on their bus loop: Bells Elementary School, Colleton County High School, Cottageville Elementary School, Forest Hills Elementary School, Hendersonville Elementary School, and Northside Elementary School.

At Colleton County Middle School and Black Street Early Childhood Center the meal pick-up station will be located in front of the school building.

Blended Students:

  • All schools will serve AA blended student’s meals on Monday and Tuesday and send home meals for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with students on Tuesday at dismissal.
  • All schools will serve BB blended schedule student’s meals on Thursday and Friday and send home meals for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with students on Friday at dismissal.

Meal Preparation:

JTM Portion Pasta Bowl Heating instructions

 Instructions are for the best results for heating a full case of 30 portion bowls from refrigerated (stored for no more than 7 days at a temperature between 33 degrees F – 40 degrees F. Note that heating times may vary based on the oven load and / or the quantity of portion bowls being heated.

 Do not remove the vented film top prior to heating.

 Preferred method - Steamer:  Place refrigerated bowls in the steamer on a perforated tray / pan. Heat at 212 degrees F for 25 -30 minutes, or until the product reaches the desired serving temperature based on local requirements. Serve or move to a heated holding cabinet until ready for hot service.

If a steamer isn’t available, then use the dry heat method – Convection Oven: Preheat the convection oven to 350 degrees F, with the fan set on low. Place frozen bowls in the oven on a sheet pan with parchment paper, if available. Heat for 25 - 30 minutes, or until the product reaches the desired serving temperature based on local requirements.  Serve or move to a heated holding cabinet until ready for hot service.

For best results heating one bowl in the microwave:

 Place one refrigerated portion bowl in the microwave (do not remove the vented film). Heat on high for 3 minutes for an 8 oz bowl and 2 minutes for a 6 oz bowl, or until the product reaches the desired serving temperature based on local requirements. Remove the vented film top and stir prior to enjoying.

Nardone’s Boxed French Bread Pizzas:

Preheat oven to 325 F. Place Boxed pizza on a baking sheet or pan liner paper. Cook pizza in ovenable box for 12-16 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let pizza sit in box for 1 minute before opening and removing pizza.

Nardone’s Bagel Breakfast Pizzas:

For a crispy crust: Preheat oven to 325 F. Place pizza directly on center oven rack. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust edges are golden brown.
For a softer crust: Preheat oven to 325 F. Place pizza on a baking sheet. Cook for 8 to 11 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust edges are golden brown.

General Ready to Eat Foods Storing, Heating and Safety Instructions

Keep refrigerated/frozen until ready to use.  All items are pre-cooked.  Heat oven to 350 degrees, cook until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Or cook vegetables until temperature reaches 165 degrees (Cooking time varies) If the container is NOT microwave safe.  You may remove items from the container, place onto a microwaveable safe container and heat in the microwave until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Pizzas de desayuno tipo bagel de Nardone:

Para una corteza crujiente: Precaliente el horno a 325 F. Coloque la pizza directamente en la rejilla central del horno. Cocine de 7 a 10 minutos o hasta que el queso se derrita y los bordes de la corteza estén dorados.

Para una corteza más suave: Precaliente el horno a 325 F. Coloque la pizza en una bandeja para hornear. Cocine de 8 a 11 minutos o hasta que el queso se derrita y los bordes de la corteza estén dorados.

Alimentos listos para consumir en general instrucciones de almacenamiento, calefacción y seguridad:

Manténgase refrigerado / congelado hasta que esté listo para usar. Todos los artículos están precocinados. Caliente el horno a 350 grados, cocine hasta que la temperatura interna alcance los 165 grados. O cocine las verduras hasta que la temperatura alcance los 165 grados (el tiempo de cocción varía) si el recipiente NO es apto para microondas. Puede sacar los artículos del recipiente, colocarlos en un recipiente apto para microondas y calentar en el microondas hasta que la temperatura interna alcance los 165 grados.
