Students across Colleton County learned the importance of literacy from March 1 -5 by participating the annual Read Across America national celebration, enjoying a bevy of reading-themed activities at each of their Colleton County Schools.
Students learning virtually and in-person were able to participate in this week’s festivities, which included wacky costumes, school-wide read along, literacy nights for students and parents, and other literacy-related activities.
Colleton County School District is happy to participate in Read Across America every year, and we are happy that we can work to ensure our students appreciate the importance of literacy and develop a life-long love of reading.
