Back to School Bash Flyer
Hundreds of Colleton County School District students and their families attended the 13th annual Back to School Bash on August 29, receiving free school supplies and fresh food just in time for the start of school year September 8.
The Back to School Bash took place at the CCSD District Office (500 Forest Circle, Walterboro), from 8 a.m. till 11 a.m.
Following Centers for Disease Control and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control guidelines, district employees and community volunteers delivered book bags full of school supplies directly to event attendee’s cars, placing them in the vehicle’s trunk. All event staff that delivered the book bags to cars were masked and gloved.
The Lowcountry Foodbank also attended the event to distribute boxes of food to participants.
